Richard Mille expands its popular line of extra flat watches with a limited edition that salutes Argentina.
Inspired by the color of Argentina’s flag, the new RM 016 DLC Titanium Argentina features bright blue numerals, indications and hands. They are easily viewable against the darkness of the watch’s black DLC titanium case, and seem to float between the sapphire crystal and the skeletonized movement thanks to the absence of a dial. With its ultra-thin profile–8.25 mm thick–and presentation on a black rubber strap with deployant buckle, the RM 016 is the perfect watch to wear with classic and sporty attire.

When Richard Mille introduced the RM 016 in 2007, it represented the first rectangular watch in the collection. Its distinct design–extra flat, and tapered to fit the wrist–found instant appeal with men and women. Yet, this watch features the same attention to detail and technical achievement as its tonneau-shaped predecessors. The manufacture and assembly of the tripartite case require 202 separate machining operations. And its unidirectional rotor with variable geometry, an exclusive to Richard Mille, allows the movement’s winding mechanism to be optimized and personalized to the owner’s lifestyle.
