In fall/winter 2011 adidas original and Burton present yet another exciting outcome of joint design work with a comprehensive capsule collection. Launching in October 2011, the second collaboration between the most iconic streetwear brand and the world’s leading snowboard brand unveils a co-branded lifestyle line that brings together the aesthetics of both labels with true inspiration from 90s snowboarding gear.

The new collection consists of 8 footwear and 25 apparel pieces, all of which feature branding of both labels. New this season, the line also includes technical outerwear pieces that are ideal for wearing at the mountain. Ranging from base layer t-shirts to flannel shirts and technical winter jackets, the design language mainly centers on three graphic pillars: woodprint, camouflage and plaid.

Within the new collection are several pieces created by Tokyo design icon Kazuki, who has worked on projects for both brands in the past, including the “adidas Originals by Originals” 2009-2011. Known for his remarkable expertise in Japanese street style, Kazuki designed a selection of pieces for the current collaboration, such as the winterized sneakers, Insulator Vest and Tech Jacket 3L.
The fall/winter 2011 collection will be available from October 2011 at select Flagship Stores of both brands worldwide as well as selected premium wholesalers within the adidas fashion distribution. Product prices will range from 130–200 $/€ for footwear and from 40–450 $/€ for apparel.
