For Autumn/Winter 2011, Shwood has joined forces with fellow Oregon-based company Pendleton Woolen Mills on a limited run of Shwood’s “Canby” frame style. Crafted from Oregon-grown Cherry wood, the frames feature laser engraved temples adorned with Pendleton’s iconic “Chief Joseph” pattern. High-fashion brand yoshio kubo, based in Tokyo, collaborated with Kaneko Optical for a new selection of frames for yoshio kubo’s 2011 spring/summer collection. Featuring a design inspired by goggles, each pair of frames are carefully sprayed and splash to create a unique style for each pair. In total there are three frames in black, gray and clear with three lens options in clear, smoke and mirror.
